2024 was the first time I was invited to teach some of the practical aspects of VJ’ing and operating complex vision systems at RMIT VE.
During the student assessments they got to show their production talents in this unique series of productions, titled Rave Fantastic, as a homage to 90’s Melbourne Rave culture.
With the help of Richard Tropea as DJ curator, and host Mad Rod at the helm, the 6 selected influential and stalwart DJ’s for 2024 provided students with a musical education that would not normally be available to them in this context.
All 6 productions were live streamed, then broadcasted on c31 in 2025. Enjoy!
